Dental insurance online picking a good PPO plan

I live in TN and looking for a good PPO dental plan so that I can stay with my own current dentist. I do not want to change dental offices and my dentist does not take discount plans so those are not a choice for me. I have never bought insurance on line before and I want to make sure the plans I see on line are real
How do I make sure I am buying a PPO dental insurance plan and not one of those dental discount plans my dentist told me to stay away from.

Right now in the state of TN we have the Standare Life PPO Dental Insurance $2000 Max. This is a PPO plan and like PPOs will let you stay with your dentist whether or not he is a provider in the plan network.
What I like about the plan is the the coverages stay the same either way. So you are not having to worry about reduce coverages because you are going outside the network of providers.

Andrew as already address the PPO dental insurance plan that we have in the state of TN.
However please let me address your other questions about making sure the plan you decide to buy is really a dental insurance plan and not a discount plan.
If you check out the plans available to you on this website you will note that we too also offer dental discount plans. However it is very clear on our site what is a discount plan and what is insurance. Once you enter your zip code in the quote box above, you will see that we tell you right on the comparison chart what plan is what and we put it in bold type for your quick review.
Any dental discount plan has to let you know that it is not dental insurance but is a dental discount plan. Some sites are harder to go though then others but if your read each plan carefully you should be able to find out if you are in fact reviewing a dental insurance or a dental discount plan.
If you can not quickly find out whether or not you are reviewing a discount plan or a true dental insurance plan, then I suggest moving on to another site that makes it clear what it is you are buying.
